Are you feeling overwhelmed or unable to cope?

 

Life can provide many reasons that make us need to talk to someone and feel heard.  You may have feelings of anxiety or low self esteem. Perhaps you are struggling with the loss of someone close or it might be that past experiences are controlling your behaviours and emotions.

 

Counselling can help you to explore the thoughts and feelings that are making life difficult.  Through exploration we can begin to understand. This brings self awareness and the opportunity to make change.

 

I provide you with a safe space and the time to explore your feelings and emotions. A space to feel heard. I have a calm and relaxed approach and my training as an integrative counsellor means I can adapt my approach to suit you.

 

Why not to take advantage of a free initial 30 minute appointment?  At this session, we can discuss your expectations of counselling and I can answer any questions you have.  Finding the right counsellor is important.  This initial session gives you the opportunity to see if you would feel comfortable working with me.

 

Both daytime and evening appointments are available.

I am a qualified, experienced counsellor with an Advanced Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic counselling. I am an accredited member of the National Counselling Society (MNCS)

With experience of working in many areas particularly work related stress and anxiety.  I spent many years volunteering for a bereavement charity

 

I follow the National Counselling Society Code of Ethics and I am committed to Continued Professional Development.
